Psychotherapy & Counseling

Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents in Eugene, Oregon. I offer both in-person and telehealth services throughout Oregon.

About My Practice

I believe in human resilience, in the potential for growth and change. I believe that pain arises through the endurance of invalidation, violation, or incongruence of one’s self, and that these experiences are what bring us to therapy. Therapy is a powerful opportunity to explore and discover one’s resilience through a relationship that encourages growth in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment. As a therapist, I am committed to creating a space for healing in which we can explore your life stories of both pain and joy, where you feel heard and validated, and where you can make the changes you seek.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (license #L7611) practicing in Eugene, Oregon. I received both my Bachelor's and my Master's from the University of Chicago and practiced for several years in different clinical settings before moving to Oregon in 2017. While in Chicago, I completed a post-graduate fellowship program where I received specialized training in trauma-informed treatment, LGBTQ+ affirmative care (including care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive individuals), multicultural therapy, and creative/expressive arts therapy. I strive to practice from a stance of social justice and intersectionality in order to honor all identities clients hold.

I work with adults with a variety of life circumstances and conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and grief/loss. I specialize in working with survivors of trauma, as well as those with family of origin and attachment difficulties. In therapy, I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities in order to honor the uniqueness of your person and your individual needs, including interpersonal, psychodynamic, and mindfulness approaches. I am also trained in EMDR for treating trauma.

I honor the courage it takes to make change, and the personal resources you bring into the room that have helped you come to where you are. My hope is that, through the therapeutic process, you may grow to experience your self and your relationships in a more authentic and meaningful way.

Insurance & Fees

Initial Consultation

I offer a free, 15-minute initial phone consultation for new clients who are interested in working with me. My goal during this conversation is to learn more about you, share information about my practice, and mutually decide therapeutic fit.

Insurance

I am an in-network provider for PacificSource, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Regence), Moda, and First Choice Health Network. If you are not covered by one of these plans, I can work with you as an out-of-network provider or on a private pay basis. Unfortunately, I am not able to take PacificSource OHP/Medicaid.

Private Pay Rates

If you choose not to use insurance for services, my private pay fee for a 60-minute individual session is $180. I charge a one-time rate of $200 for an initial assessment session. On a limited basis, I can offer sliding scale rates for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please contact me if you are interested in discussing this.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs if you are paying out-of-pocket for healthcare services (i.e. if you do not have insurance or are not using your insurance benefits). I am happy to provide this at the time of our initial consultation. Please visit the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services website here for more information.

Peace is this moment without judgment.
That is all. This moment in the heart-space
where everything that is is welcome.
Peace is this moment without thinking
that it should be some other way,
that you should feel some other thing,
that your life should unfold according to your plans.

Peace is this moment without judgment.
That is all. This moment in the heart-space
where everything that is is welcome.

It takes courage to make change. You don’t have to go through it alone.
